Caldentey Commits to The University of Mount Olive

Ana Caldentey, a four-year varsity letter midfielder for the Lions, has consistently earned TAPPS recognition throughout high school. Beginning with an honorable mention as a freshman, she quickly progressed to first-team all-district honors and, in her sophomore and junior years, achieved first-team all-state recognition during the program's consecutive State Runner-up finishes.

Beyond her impressive accolades, Caldentey will be remembered for her fierce competitiveness and methodical playing style. Coach Ramirez and her teammates also highlight her exceptional sportsmanship and dedication as a teammate. "We will miss the smiles and laughs Ana brought to this team, but we know her passion for the game now extends to the next level," stated Coach Ramirez.
