Lions Track & Field Secures Four Gold Medals
The SJ23 track season continued its strong start, with the Lions roaring back from Spring Break practices at the Fort Bend Christian Relays.
The Lions delivered a strong performance against Fort Bend Christian and other TAPPS institutions, with four athletes achieving first-place victories. Event winners include:
- Maximilian Aguilera: 1st Place, Pole Vault (12'1"). This marks Max's first individual win of the season, surpassing second place by 1'6".
- Micah Cohen: 1st Place, 110m Hurdles. Micah continues his successful trajectory, securing his second first-place finish of the season.
- Matthew Muraski: 1st Place, 800m (2:00.34). Matthew achieved a new personal best and his first win of the season.
- Chris Pietrak: 1st Place, 3200m (9:50.05). Chris displayed strategic pacing, finishing 22 seconds ahead of the runner-up.
