Teacher Spotlight -- Jason Alleman

At SJ23, education is more than just learning facts—it's about shaping the whole person.
Latin teacher Mr. Jason Alleman believes that "the holistic formation of the entire person must be at the heart of all types of teaching."

With a passion for problem-solving, Mr. Alleman sees Latin as more than just a language—it’s a puzzle waiting to be solved.
Each sentence and passage challenges students to think critically, develop analytical skills, and refine their ability to unravel complex ideas.
"At the end of the day, the problem-solving skills my students acquire and constantly practice through Latin are the same skills they can apply to any discipline they choose. That’s what makes it great!"
Thank you, Mr. Alleman, for inspiring our students every day!
