    Our SJ23 team had the privilege of attending the 10th Annual Duc In Altum Schools Summit at the University of St. Thomas in Houston! This gathering united Catholic educators nationwide to deepen our faith, knowledge, and commitment to Catholic education.

    Please mark your calendars for the SJ23 Annual Gala & Auction on February 22, 2025. We are excited to celebrate this year’s theme, “Roaring '20s,” in honor of our 20th anniversary. Our festivities will begin at 6:00 pm with our silent and live auctions, drinks, and dinner. As we gear up for the event, can we count on you for the following:

    College Board recently announced that St. John XXIII College Preparatory has been named to the 2024 Advanced Placement® (AP®) School Honor Roll, earning the Platinum distinction.

    This year, we are celebrating a milestone—twenty years of nurturing the minds and hearts of over 1,200 graduates. Our alumni have gone on to academic and personal success built upon our four pillars of formation: Oboedientia, Pax, Virtus, and Renovatio. Since our doors opened in 2004, SJ23 has fostered a vibrant learning environment grounded in academic rigor, a commitment to the Catholic faith, and service to others.

  • SJ23 Announces the Valedictorian and Salutatorian for 2024

    Founded in 2004, St. John XXIII College Preparatory is an accredited, competitive, coeducational college preparatory school of 430 students located in the greater Houston suburb of Katy, Texas. Its mission is to form the hearts and minds of young men and women in a Christ-centered community dedicated to academic excellence, the pursuit of virtue, and service to others in the Tradition of the Catholic Church. Thirty-six teaching faculty are employed, and over half hold master’s degrees or higher.

    The gym is coming to life as construction for our gymnasium addition is now in full swing! We've crossed the initial milestone, with the completion of the concrete pouring – a solid foundation for the future!

  • Inclement Weather - School Closing

    Due to adverse weather and driving conditions in the Katy area, SJ23 is canceling all classes and all activities for tomorrow, Tuesday, January 16, 2024. 
    Classes will resume Wednesday, January 17, a Crimson day with Mass.
