National Hispanic and African American Recognition

The College Board, which administers the PSAT and SAT among its activities, recognizes those students who have excelled on their PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10, or AP Exams, as well as their classwork, through its National Recognition Programs. Students selected for this prestigious honor can cite it on their college and scholarship applications. These National Recognition Programs grant underrepresented students academic honors which can be included on college and scholarship applications, connecting them with universities across the country during the admissions process. Colleges and scholarship programs identify students awarded National African American, Hispanic, Indigenous and/or Rural/Small Town Recognition through College Board’s Student Search Service.

SJ23 is pleased to announce that the following students have been recognized as College Board National Recognition Program Scholars:

  • Irekar Jeune – National African American Recognition Program

  • Blanca Castillo Nunez – National Hispanic Recognition Program

  • Diego Moncada – National Hispanic Recognition Program
