SJ23 Swim Coach
The athletic department would like to welcome Aaron Fowkes to the coaching staff.
Aaron will be taking over as our new Head Swim Coach. His professional career began right after graduation where he taught social studies with the Alief Independent
School District. In addition to teaching he was also the Head Swim Coach for the Boys and Girls Varsity and JV Swim Team. Swimming has been a constant in his life.
His experience and passion for swimming has allowed him to give back to the community by becoming a coach. He began coaching in his teens for the Ashton Village Vikings Swim Team. It is there where he moved through the ranks from a stroke instructor to an assistant coach and now the head coach. He has spent the last 25 years building a strong and recognizable program which includes several division championships and multiple all-star records.
